Sound based interaction

Manipulating sound through tactility and gesture

I took a short course at Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design on sound based interaction. We learned about capturing sound and manipulating it with sound editing software called Reaper. Then, we took our sounds and learned how to layer different interactions and create unique experiences with Arduino and a mathematics software called Pure Data. I loved the experience of collecting sounds and cataloging them in a field notebook. Plus, it made for a great excuse to explore the city of Copenhagen by foot and bicycle.
